Madeline Angela Meyer, PhD, Public Health-Epidemiology, MSHA, MBA, CMPE, CCS-P, CPC, CCS |
Dr. Madeline Meyer has over 25 years working as a Healthcare Administrator in high level management positions. For more than 10 years, she has worked as a Healthcare Consultant. She has taught throughout her career as an adjunct instructor since 1990 in the classroom and since 2001 online. She is a subject matter expert, curriculum developer for Healthcare Administration, Community Health, and more recently, Public Health, Epidemiology and Health Informatics courses. She holds a PhD in public health, specializing in epidemiology, with a focus in health informatics from Walden University, Minneapolis, MN. She also has earned an MBA from Nova Southeastern University School of Business, Tampa, FL, Master of Science in Health Services Administration from Nova Southeastern, Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Her undergraduates is a B.A. in Business Administration from Metropolitan State University, Minneapolis, MN. She also earned a degree as a Medical Laboratory Technologists, ASCP (American Society of Clinical Pathologists) registered from Lakeland Medical Academy, Minneapolis, MN, and attended St. Luke’s School of Nursing, a three year Diploma program, St. Louis, MO. She earned her Certified Practice Executive (CMPE) (2000), AHIMA Certified Medical Coder-Physician (CCS-P), AHIMA Certified Medical Coder-Hospital (CCS), her AAPC Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and was a AHIMA ICD-10-CM/PCS Trainer and Ambassador from 2010-2015.
